Results and Prizes

Results are posted, and prizes awarded as soon as possible after the end of the race. They will also be available on the club website www.pennylanestriders.club and on www.ukresults.net

Course

Usually the course takes in the scenic River Mersey waterfront along Otterspool Promenade, and Otterspool Park. It is accurately measured and certified, and kilometre markers will be displayed.

The course is mostly flat and run on sealed surfaces, with the exception the Start and Finish areas which are on grass. As there are a number of kerbs and narrow gaps to negotiate, unfortunately the race is not deemed to be suitable for wheelchair athletes.

In a number of locations the course doubles back on itself, so make sure to keep left in order to avoid those running in the opposite direction! Water stations can be found at approximately half way and at the finish
