Each year we organise a series of social events - some related to running and some not!

- Off Road Championship and XC end of Season Drinks: 12th March. Penny Lane Wine Bar, 7pm. A chance to celebrate all the years' running. This is an informal event (we've not booked the venue so just turn up).
- All club relays: 27th April at the Mystery Park, 7pm. Replacing our usual Thursday training sessions, all groups meet at the Mystery. There, you'll be assigned to teams and run relay laps of the park. Winning team gets an epic prize 😉 but more importantly bragging rights. There is always the chance for a social drink afterwards.
- Awards Evening 12th May (doors from 7pm, Awards 7.30pm sharp) this year takes place at the Aigburth People's Hall. WebCollect Sign Up to be announced shortly. A night celebrating running, club contributions and friendship. Tickets include food and disco.
- Penny Lane Striders 10k race 18th June, X am. Details TBC. Members are encouraged to run or volunteer as marshals.
- Annual General Meeting: Tentative Date 19th June. Time and Venue TBC.
- Penny Lane Striders Cross Country Race: 29th October at Clarke's Garden's. Contact [email protected] to volunteer.
- Andrew Stansfield Memorial Handicap 5k: Tuesday TBC in November at the Police Club Aigburth (L19 3QN), arrive for 6.30pm for a 7pm start. We hope all members will come along for a evening of running , food and socialising with other PLS! Sign up on WebCollect.
- Festive Party: TBC November at TBCpm. Sign up now via WebCollect
- Off Road Festive Park Run and Breakfast: Saturday 2nd December at Delamere park run. Where you best seasonal garb, take part in park run, and join us for a post run breakfast. No need to book, just turn up and order your own breakfast at the Delamere Forest cafe following the run.
